We tailor all our services to your pup's individual needs. Prices vary depending on grooming schedule, coat type/condition, size, temperament, and nervous or aggressive behaviour. Full Groom

The Full Groom includes a soothing bath using a suitable shampoo and conditioner, if necessary, to loosen up knots, followed by a blow dry, full body styling, an ear clean and nail trim and finished off with a spritz of pawfume. Hand stripping

Hand Stripping to Breed Standard, soothing bath, blow dry, ear clean, nail trim. We charge £26 per hour for hand stripping. The process usually takes around 2 hours.

Blueberry Facial

A lavish Blueberry Facial designed to reduce tear stains, massaged into your dogs muzzle and face which cleanses, removes dirt and tear stains. Blueberry facial is gentle enough to use on the face and will not sting their eyes.

Puppy Package

Your puppy's first visit should be a happy experience, so it's super important to desensitise your pup from a very young age. Their first appointment could shape their future behaviour, so it's important they feel comfortable and safe in the grooming environment. The Puppy Package includes 3 sessions in total, 2 weeks apart for £65. Pay in full or each appointment. (For puppy's under 6 months).

Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions

We would like to extend a warm welcome to your furry friend to be groomed and taken care of at Tillytails. However, we kindly request you to go through the following terms and conditions before booking your dog's appointment with us. By booking an appointment with us, you are accepting our full terms and conditions. Please take a moment to read through them in order to ensure the safety of your dog and our staff.

Data Protection

We keep detailed record cards for all dogs at Tillytails. Client data will be treated under the Data Protection Act and will not be shared.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment. This will allow us to offer the appointment to somebody else.

If you do not turn up to your appointment, you will have to pay the full amount of the service, plus a 50% deposit to rebook another appointment.

Late Arrival & Collection Policy

As you'll be aware, if you are late for your appointment, it can mess up our schedule, which is not enjoyable for the dogs or our staff. We kindly ask you to arrive on time and pick up your dog on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, there will be a charge of 50p a minute.

De-matting Policy

Pets with matted coats require extra attention during their grooming. Matted fur can become very uncomfortable for the dog and even straggle the skin causing irritation, hot spots and infection.

If your dog is matted, under no circumstances will we put them through any pain or discomfort. We will spend no longer than 20 minutes brushing out the knots, as it is cruel and painful. In addition, we are legally obligated to work within the constraints of the Animal Welfare Act and shave off the coat.

We will inform you and ask your permission prior, however, it is more beneficial for your dog's health and happiness to shave off the coat and start again.

If your dog is matted, you will be charged an additional £10 as matting also damages our equipment and an additional £10 if the groom goes beyond the allocated time.

Refund Policy

We hope that you are completely thrilled with your dog's groom or treatments they receive from us at Tillytails, but for whatever reason you are not happy with the service, please advise within 48 hours of your service so we can resolve the issue. We take great pride in our services and our dogs and want you to as well. After this period, we do not hold any accountability.

Fleas

Dogs with fleas cannot be accepted into our salon as it puts other dogs at risk.

If your dog has had fleas before the appointment, please treat them and ensure that there are no fleas before bringing them into our salon.

If we discover fleas during the appointment, an additional fee of £20 will be added on top of the price to cover all costs of deep-cleaning, washing and treatment.

You will need to wait for 3 weeks after flea treatment before rebooking and show proof of treatment before your appointment.

Accidents

Your dog's health, well-being and safety is our number one priority and we do the very best to ensure this at all times.

We are fully insured and qualified groomers, however, please be aware that accidents in the workplace when working with animals and sharp equipment can mean that accidents can occasionally happen.

We hold no liability and similarly, we take no responsibility for any irritation, abrasion or hair loss.

Vaccinations

Your dog must be vaccinated up to date. An unvaccinated dog puts itself and other dogs at risk. Before booking your appointment, we may ask for proof of vaccination records.

Health & Safety

Your dog's welfare and safety are most important to us at Tillytails. We ensure that we keep dogs separate at all times (unless the owner has brought multiple and in this case they can be together). The salon and equipment are cleaned and disinfected regularly throughout the day, tables are disinfected after every use and the entire salon and equipment are thoroughly sanitised at the end of the day, ready for the next.

Sick or Elderly Dogs

We are more than happy to groom a sick or elderly dog, however, grooming of sick or elderly dogs is entirely at the owner's risk, which we cannot be held liable for.

Allergies

Allergies should be disclosed to the groomer before your appointment. Tillytails cannot be held responsible for any reactions to products used such as shampoos, fragrances and ear cleaners.

Toileting

Please make sure your dog has emptied its bladder before their appointment. A full bladder is uncomfortable and may alter their behaviour during the appointment.

In-season, Spaying & Pregnancy

We do not accept dogs that are in-season or that are pregnant as it can stress them out too much and may cause further complications.

Dogs can come to us after 5-6 weeks after they have had their pups and the all-clear from the vets.

Dogs in season can only come for their appointment once their season has passed.

Anal Glands

We do not offer anal gland emptying as this procedure is recommended to be carried out by a veterinary surgeon. (This is confirmed in law by the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966).
